Prue Stent is a young girl based in Sydney but who is studying in Melbourne, who knows what femininity today and shows it without too many frills. He began to investigate the world of photography in the age of adolescence, at sixteen. And in his four photographic projects, a common thread seems to tie all his shots: women.
Sarcastic, beautiful, abandoned, surreal, intriguing, extravagant. Prue uses a range of colors that already by themselves express the femininity of the world. Soft colors that smelling of marshmallow, poses that would envy the paintings representing Eve in the Garden of Eden. He says he loves working in a spontaneous way, without too intellectualize his work. And this is perceptible in every shot, which seems an instinctive game. This helps to experiment, to explore, to snoop around a new beauty linked to the female body that is not an object to be photographed, but a statue that shows its beauty only when it is left free to act spontaneously.
